Minico 52, Twin Falls 47 RUPERT — The Spartans are the last undefeated team in Great Basin Conference play after Wednesday’s home win. Kylie Baumert scored 11 points for the Bruins (3-4, 2-1), who play at 5A Highland on Tuesday.

Girls athlete of the week: Morgan Harr, Twin Falls

The senior led the Twin Falls girls basketball team to a pair of Great Basin Conference wins this past week. On Tuesday, Harr scored 19 points in a 53-38 winover Wood River. Two days later, she scored 19 points again, this time in a 56-31 win over rival Canyon Ridge. The Bruins (3-3) have won three straight games.

Wendell beat Twin Falls JV 36-34, Challis 36-33 and North Gem 30-15. Twin Falls JV went 1-5 at the duals with its lone win over North Gem 48-30. Not all of the team scores were available.
